Sakshi Agarwal
Sakshi Agarwal born on 20 July is an Indian film actress, primarily known for her work in the Tamil film industry, Kollywood. She started her career with modeling from Bangalore and also worked in two Kannada films, Sandalwood before she got her calling for Tamil films. Apart from acting Sakshi has also worked on many TV commercials and photo shoots for some big brands in the city. She has been part of many store launches and been felicitated as chief guest for many events in Chennai and Bangalore.
Brought up in Chennai, Sakshi completed her engineering from St Joseph's college of Engineering, Anna University Chennai and pursued further studies by attending MBA from a leading institute in Bangalore. After working for a few months in one India's top IT companies, she was noticed by a well known fashion designer from Bangalore who gave her a break into the modelling industry. From there it was all praises and hard work that took her to the next level. She became one of the most known faces in Bangalore. Waiting to work shift back to Chennai, her home town and pursue her career in acting she was asked to play the lead in a Tamil horror film called Yoogan, which released early this year.
Signing for Tamil films back to back was something she never expected but delivered with great focus and hard work. Soon Sakshi, became a well- known face in Chennai, with 2 movie releases and the third movie called Adhyan releasing on October 30, 2015. She has completed shooting for her 4th Tamil movie called Kakakapo, where she has shared screen place with over 33 known Tamil artists. This film is a complete heroine - centric film. Movie is expected to release this year. Sakshi has played the lead role in all her films now. She hopes this streak continues.
